I bought three of these so that I could use my webcam for observing betta fry. It's been working great. The only problem was the chords fit together loosely and kept falling apart, so of course I had to duct tape them. There's duct tape on a lot of stuff I own.
This USB extention is a great buy. I used 2 of these to connect to a projector in a Church and for the price the quality is awesome. I would definately buy these again.
I guess I should have read the reviews before purchasing. Attempted to use the cable to extend the connection between speakers and my Mac. Barely any sound. What a waste.
I have three hooked up together and they work fine.I originally went to the local computer store and was told no such thing existed. Not true because this product is exactly what you need if your equipment is spread out over the house, ie you have a multi-use machine in one room a and a desktop in another.
Well, if I could curse in this review, I STILL wouldn't have enough bad things to say about this product.I wanted to place my D-link wireless adapter closer to the window to gain web access from across the street, so I thought this extender was the way to go. Unfortunately for me, I didn't check the reviews and do enough research before I bought this cable. Whenever I plug it into any of the USB ports or USB hubs I have attached to my computer, the CPU utilization shoots up to 100% and I get a "Device not recognized" error message. It's a cable, right. How complicated could it be. Nothing that I plug into the extender works (mouse, jump drive, wireless adapter, etc). If you look up the same product on NewEgg, you'll see there are a lot more people out there with similar gripes.It's not worth the hassle of returning (which I bet Sabrent was counting on) so I'm just going to use it to bundle next week's garbage.
